Overview
Surf & Sand is a contemporary haven for relaxation and rejuvenation. Offering barefoot luxury every step of your stay, our resort’s unparalleled oceanfront accommodations, exquisite coastal dining, and award-winning spa experience create the perfect atmosphere for friends and families alike to make memories that last a lifetime.
In this particular case, the client was looking to redesign the website. A UI and UX that caters to all types of users, while keeping in mind how important it is to keep things simple, accessible, and inclusive.
Although this design exploration was not chosen for external company reasons, it was an effective way to visualize a redesigned user flow journey. Rebranding their image online was the goal.
Discovery Phase
In order to convey security and luxury while navigating the website, the message was clear. Organizing the design to support the hierarchy and architecture was the main challenge.
As I conduct research, I encounter a large amount of information that could have been reformatted or omitted within the first glance, so the user does not feel overwhelmed and conflicted.
Evolution
In order to convey security and luxury while navigating the website, the message was clear. Organizing the design to support the hierarchy and architecture was the main challenge.
As I conduct research, I encounter a large amount of information that could have been reformatted or omitted within the first glance, so the user does not feel overwhelmed and conflicted.
As the structure started taking shape so did the flow and UX of the newly designed UI. By redesigning and modernizing the user interface, all the information that was previously misplaced and in conflict with the end goal, to book and learn about luxury hotels and stays, could be scattered across the page.
However, the design was not chosen. It was ment-ioned by the head managers of the project that the proposed UI/UX was clearly the right direction and what they wanted toachievew for the company.
